Barceló Brno Palace CL Šilingrovo námestí 2/265

The exclusive building in Brno city centre originated in the middle of the 19. century based on a project of architect Franz Froehlich (1824-1889). The original concept was drawn as a residential building which included a range of different-sized rooms and a sophisticated stairways system. Contrast between rigorous palace exterior and distinctively rugged arcade atrium with romanticizing details was charcateristic for this spectacular construction. Mestsky dvur was considered to be one of the most luxurious and prestige addresses in Brno.
