Lourdas is an attractive and quiet resort with a traditional square, a selection of tavernas and a mini market. The island is great to explore and it is recommended that you hire a car to make the most of your holiday in Kefalonia. The bus service on the island is limited.

These pleasant studios have their own supermarket as well as a swimming pool, a restaurant and a pool bar. Rooms have air conditioning, satellite television, a kitchenette and a balcony and from this elevated position there are great views out across the Ionian Sea.
There are several great beaches in the surrounding area - just beyond the village, a side road winds down the hillside for just over a mile to the lovely uncrowded sandy beach of Avithos and the attractive resort of Lassi has two superb beaches of soft pale sand which shelve gently into the crystal clear water and are thought to be among the best beaches anywhere in Greece (Makris and Platis Yialos).
