The hotel is a traditional 7 storey building opened in 1912. Much of the classical architecture and decor have been preserved, including the famous back-to-back "P" monogram.
The luxurious large lobby is elegantly appointed with majestic covered ceilings and opulent French antiques. The lobby features grand marble pillars and huge crystal chandeliers.
