Founded in 2003, Air Arabia was the first low-cost airline in the Middle East. It is a national UAE airline and is headquartered in the city of Sharjah. Sharjah International Airport is the main hub for its operations and it has secondary aviation bases as Ras Al Khaimah International Airport in UAE, King Mohammed V International Airport in Morocco, Borg El Arab International Airport in Egypt and Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan.Al Arabiya covers 130 destinations in 40 countries spread over Asia, Africa, and Europe. Al Arabiya has a modern fleet consisting of 38 aircrafts of Airbus A320 model.
Air Arabia is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Arab Air Carriers’ Organization (AACO).
Al Arabiya provides two flight classes based on which inflight amenities and on the ground services vary.
Air Arabia owns a fleet of 38 modern aircrafts, all of which belong to Airbus A320 model. It is also seeking to support the fleet with 44 new modern aircrafts, which will be delivered in batches.
al Arabiya allows Business class passengers a generous luggage size. They are allowed a checked baggage of 40 kgs and a carry-on baggage of 10 kgs.Economy Class:

Passengers travelling with Arabia aircan choose their baggage weight from 3 weight options: 20 kgs, 30 kgs, and 40kgs. They can select their suitable baggage size from these three options while booking / modifying their flight itinerary.
Passengers can extend their baggage limit by 20 kgs at the airport in return for some nominal fees.
The maximum permissible weight per piece of luggage is 32 kgs.
Passengers travelling with infants (younger than two years) are allowed 10 kgs of extra checked baggage.
Passengers are allowed to carry an additional bag containing a laptop free of charge irrespective of their flight ticket class

Al Arabiya airlines offers easy online booking procedures. Passengers can select their preferred seats, check-in and print their boarding passes from anywhere they have Internet access. Passengers travelling from Sharjah International Airport can check-in online and print their boarding passes before 24 hours to their scheduled flight departure time. Passengers travelling from other airports can check-in online and print their boarding passes 12 hours prior to their flight departure time. Passengers can also make check-in at airports. They can approach al Arabiya check-in counters at airports to check-in and get their boarding passes printed.
Air Arabia flights was established and became the first low-cost airline in the region and the third national UAE airline. It operated its first flight in Oct. the same year.
